We have just left The Calabash Hotel, to finish off our 3 week honeymoon. We are a same sex couple and couldn't have been treated so special. Our honeymoon was acknowledged straight away (something that wasn't done widely in our last 2 resorts) and have been treated like royalty. Leo and Clive greeted us on our arrival, something, we think,... More

My wife and I stayed at the Calabash in April. The staff are friendly and the service is ok. its a bit like an old fashioned colonial hotel ideal for those that want to do nothing.its all "quite British".the food is excellent infact the portions are just too big.its not for youngsters under 50 we are late 40s.The evening entertainment is... Stayed here for 8 days. Great staff. Really friendly and effective. Beach great. Quiet area with the exception of the constant airport traffic and the 737 series 800 jets flying overhead. Rooms in needs of update, especially the plumping and air conditioning units. Food okay and too expensive for what you get. Do not believe the hype around this place,... More

I can see why people come back to this hotel time after time, but I also feel that perhaps the repeat business has meant that the hotel misses a trick or two and as a result, it won't appeal to some. There is so much going for this hotel, for example: the excellent location, the generous sized rooms, the laid... More

What a fabulous place! Hands down the staff and service is the best around. I can't say enough about how nice the staff was and how welcomed we felt. Our room was steps from the beautiful beach where we ate a private (and delicious) breakfast daily. I would highly recommend taking advantage of the excursions (snorkeling, diving, trips to Fish... Have just returned from an all too short Easter week in Grenada and stayed at the Calabash hotel. We would have loved to have stayed longer at this beautiful resort but it was an expensive holiday though I don't think we could have found anything of similar quality in the Carribean for cheaper and we had shopped around! We were... More

Simply outstanding in every way. We were met by Clive (the owner), who cordially invited us to cocktails at 6 pm. A great start to our holiday. From that moment on we were thoroughly pampered throughout the week. Clive and his staff are absolutely amazing. The breakfast (prepared at your villa by your own personal maid) is delightful. The complimentary... More

Just returned from a week at this hotel and despite being a hard marker had to give them excellent for everything on my feedback form. The rooms were spacious and clean. We had a lovely view of the gardens with the sea just about visable through the trees. If you want a better view of sea ask for an upstairs... More

A boutique hotel which is as good as it gets. From stepping out of our Taxi to be greeted by name, to the generousity of attitude which unquestioningly allowed us to retain our room long after check-out, this holiday was the most restful and splendid experience we have ever enjoyed from a long and varied history. The staff, without exception,... More

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 week stay at this lovely Caribbean Gem. We know the islands very well and very often food and service is poor even in the most expensive hotels and restaurants. Dinner each evening in Rhodes was outstanding. The staff are exceptional, THE BEST we have ever had on any Caribbean holiday.... More
