Just returned from 2 week stay at Cayo Levantado. We considered this our very own paradise - relaxing, quite, intimate. The second week we were there we were told there were only 120 guests staying at the resort. We received excellent service and our wine was poured even before we sat down. Well, as most all the other reviews state the island and hotel is excellent. Very quiet with nothing to do so if you want any sort of nightlife or entertainment either day or night then this isn't for you. I agree that it isn't a resort for children either as they would be bored and it is 99% adults there.... more

I won't repeat what other reviews of touched on except to say, that this is a wonderful, relaxed, idyllic place to spend a holiday. Rooms are wonderful and huge, if you want a sea view request a room in villas 1-3 and ask for a top floor, all of these rooms have uninterrupted seas views and are bright and airy.... more

WE have just returned from our second visit and again had a great holiday. The hotel again was fantastic. We stayed in the main building again and our room was spotlessly clean, spacious and very quiet. We requested the same room as last year and were granted that by the helpful staff.
