Requested ocean view room. Got room next to a constuction site, started jack-hammering at 8 a.m. Food bad. Should have health inspector on premisies! Service lousy , unfriendly, and at times non-existent. Casino was archaic. Business centre was a joke. more

The Barcelo is such a huge resort that it has a little bit of everything for everyone. There are great beaches that aren't too crowded, plenty of different types of restaurants and bars, and clubs boasting either latino or American club-style music. The place is large enough that "spring breakers" can have fun while not disturbing families and older vacationers.... more

I make the best of wherever we go. it is hard with a case of raging Diarrhea. DO NOT drink the water, ice, icecream or fruit unless cooked . be careful and then you may still get sick. Nice size hotel. I don't like hotels that you can get lost at. Food was good. Specialty restaurants were great!!!
