Gorgeous, awesome scenery, AI but the food was kinda like mystery meat more

This is one of the nicest hotels i have ever been. Great pool, beach made in heaven, fantastic gardens, nice rooms and the best restaurants ever! The buffet is not so good but the restaurants "À la carte" are something to remember. This was my second time there and it is still the best. Try it!!! more

First I would like to say that this resort is nice and the grounds are well kept and quite beautiful. The pool was quite nice. The staff were both good and bad. The food was fairly good. This City is beautiful but this Hotel is the best. They are the perfect combination. I just love it. There is a lot of things to do in the hotel. Great Shows, Great Bars, The pools are amazing and the beach is beautiful!!... Delicious food in all the restaurants with diferent kind of food. Love the Mexican Restaurant. more

I am an avid traveller to the DR and know Punta Cana very well. The Melia Caribe, although an older hotel (but well maintained), is definitely worth a try. They offer a Royal Service upgrade to some of their room categories which seemed to be worth the extra money. Royal Service gives you a special check in area as well... more

The hotel's landscapes are breathtaking, the regular pool is pretty, however don't get fooled by the beautiful pool's picture with the columns and the cabanas you see in the melia's website, that pool belongs to the royal service only(extra$$$).
