The Habitat must have once been outstanding. Unfortunately, that was in the past. The resort has fallen on bad times and has not done any upkeep. The bathroom in our unit was quite elderly, which is one thing. The nasty of the bathroom was quite another deal. The shower barely spit water that was either scalding hot or ice cold.... More

See Diver Medic 911. This place went from first class to disreputable dump that wouldn't even rate a No Tell Motel rating. You can voice your grievances to Management but they will outright ignore you. The only thing that works is the Dive Masters who are really ingenious in overcoming all the obstacles thrown at them by Diversity and the... More

Unfortunately I have to agree with most of the issues raised by others below. I say unfortunately because it is a real shame that within the past 12 months since my first review 'Very pleasant stay at junior deluxe suite with ocean view' so much has changed. We returned to Habitat to finish my diving certificate I started in December... More

Habitat says they are a dive hotel yet the dive facilities (dock) have now been out of commission for 3 months (as you can see by other comments). This resort does have real potential as they are in a great location for divers along with a nice quiet laid back atmosphere. Here are the positives: Diversity dive team is GREAT,... More

Spent week of Dec 1 at "Coral Estates Seaside Hotel" (see logo), "Habitat Seaside Hotel/Resort" or whatever and had a great time. As usual, the dive staff was very helpful. Lion fish population is increasing as expected and coral bleaching from warmer summer waters is everywhere. The Habitat Curacao property was purchased by the Coral Estates Homeowner Association (approximately 300... More

I have been here 4 times not and will never return. The place is so run down now and the owners/investors whatever have their priorities all wrong for the hotel. As someone else pointed out the priorities are now focused towards catering to the Coral estates housed located in the hills behind the hotel. I will break down my review:... More

This hotel used to be beautiful, but is falling apart. You have to ask for everything from towels in the room, to a blanket, a hair dryer, no shampoo, and I almost didn't bring any. So, many things didn't work, and the sink leaked. We were there after hurricane Thomas whose winds really were hurting our week and as were... More

this is just terrible, the resort is now catered to owners/renters in the coral estates area of curacao and divers are 2nd class citizens. nevermind the terrible restaurant service (stuck here every night because there are no other restaurants for miles) but after a storm the dock was partially damaged, and they couldn't do basic repairs for several (4-5) days.... Not as friendly as we hoped. Rooms were fine for us, we stayed in the villas - (made it fun for us as a group to cocktail in the evenings), diving was fantastic! Diveversity crew (Clark, Ima and Andhiela) were spectacular! The restaurant and staff left MUCH to be desired. Couple of things disappointed....We found out, that Habitat is now... More
