We spent an entire week in La Habana at Hotel Telegrafo. Rooms are clean, great view of the Parque Central with windows that opened, breakfast with music every day, mojitos with the friendly bar staff every night (no one better to watch the Industriales win the playoffs with!), right around the corner from Paseo de Prado, aka Paseo de Marti... Things didn't start well. On arrival we were told that the Telegrafo had been out of water all day and that guests were being sent to other hotels for the night. We were sent to Palacio O'Farrill (where we had the worst hotel stay we have ever had), and returned to the Telegrafo the next day. Check in on day... More

Great location on Parque Centrale next to Hotel Inglaterre...much better than expected -- modern bathrooms, comfortable rooms, good bar, great full breakfast, sidewalk patio in front to watch all the people and classic cars go by. Not sure it can be beat for the price. If you are looking for large hotel luxury, this is not it, but if you... More

The location of this hotel is wonderful! The first floor room balconies look over the park and the Parque Central hotel across the street. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. There is a bus stop for double decker tour buses, which go into various neighborhoods around the city. There are many things about the hotel which need to be... More

The hotel is located in the center of activity. The front veranda bar is a wonderful place to watch the parade of old American cars and stylish dresses. Our room had a very tall ceiling and doors opening onto a little balcony. The balcony overlooked a street scene that became a movie theater in the evening. A screen or sheet... More

corner next to the hotel. Would certainly stay here again. We stayed here for 4 nights (just got back), we were a bit concerned as other reviews said the staff were surly and unhelpful, we found them to be really nice and friendly. The hotel has a great terrace outside where you can sit with your Mojito cocktail and watch the... More

We booked three days in Havana as an extension on our beach holiday in Cuba with Virgin. Virgin offered this hotel and we didn't really know what to expect but it was great! The location is fabulous for exploring Havana and it's opposite the Parque Central Hotel, which is lovely also. There wasn't much to the room but it had... More

We stayed here for 3 nights prior to moving on to Varadero. The hotel is in a fantastic location for the sights. Breakfast was basic, but decent enough, with live music. Staff were discrete but worked very hard. Our room was huge, which was clean. Only niggle was the shower was terrible, dribbled at best. More

My partner and I stayed in the Telegrafo for 2 nights last week , to begin our 11 day holiday in Cuba. The Telegrafo is in an excellent location on the corner of Parque Central and at the top of the Prado (Paseo de Marti) it’s only a short walk down to the Malecon. The hotel has been renovated and the...
