We stayed in this hotel for a week. Overall, it is a very good hotel. It's old yet clean for Havana standards (one has to blame the embargo for the shortage of cleaning products and other consumption goods). The front desk staff do their job but are not very friendly. The information desk (public relations) personnel are great. They were... More

Large rooms in classic hotel. Friendly staff. Hotel is within easy walking distance of main old town attractions. Food good to reasonable- bear in mind the shortages in Cuba - so do not expect very high European standards. Breakfasts excellent, evening meals reasonable to good. Colonial old style spacioius rooms. Cool atrium snack bar. Short distance from Prado. Advice -check... More

We had a three night stay in this hotel in Havana The hotel is in a good position for getting around and sight seeing. Our room was at the back of the hotel large enough but quite dark looking onto a high wall, the bathroom being in need of a make-over most certainly not four star. We had dinner in... More

It was a good hotel in the heart of Havana from where a walking tour to Habana sightseeing could be organized. The restaurant in the last upper floor give a possibitity for a nice view to Havana by night and have a very good local and European meals. The most attractive event on this hotel was when Al Capone acoomodated here with... Having stayed at two other hotels in Havana in the past week (Plaza and Parque Central), I would say that this was definitely the mid-range option. Currently in the process of renovations, it still has a colonnial/european charm. The inside/outside courtyard, snack bar and pool are lovely. The reception staff don't seem to share information or knowledge with each other,... More

Had a great stay at this beautiful hotel. The charming colonial lobby area was a great place to relax. The hotel also has a wonderful open air courtyard, often with live Cuban music. The breakfast area on the top floor has great views over Havana. We also found the location of the hotel very convenient as it is close to... More

The hotel has a feel of old school glamour, it's well located for a walk into the old town and near the Revolution Museum. The pool is lovely and its an excellent place to relax. More

At the beginning we got a wrong room and it took a while until we have been given another room. In the new room was then one light not working and a light bulp defect in the bathroom (light worked after the first housekeeping but the bulp in the bathroom was not replaced). Also was the holder for the shower... More

The Hotel Sevilla is an exquisite example of the grand Havana of bygone days. The staff members we encountered were friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean and offered a spectacular view of rooftops, ancient spires, and the sea. The hotel is located in the very heart of the city, surrounded by cultural venues and discretely hidden restaurants. Sadly,... More

Stayed here in November. Whilst the hotel looks grand in the reception area that is where it ends. The front desk staff were truely the worst I have come across anywhere... rude and unhelpful. Upon getting to our room we were met with hairs on the bed and mould in the bathrooms. The cleaning staff would also just enter the... More
