My wife and I and one more couple stayed there for 4 nights in End of Jan 2012. Luis and his staff (especially the old man) are very helpful and friendly. The first dinner we had in Havana was at his Casa. It gave us very good impression. Various courses you can choose (eg. Lobster, Fish, Pork..) and it was... More

My friend recommended the casa to me after her stay here. However I didn't get the chance to stay at the lovely and cozy casa as it was fully booked. The owner, Luis had however offered me breakfast and dinner at his Casa and arranged another accommodation very close to his Casa for me. Luis was very helpful. The Casa... More

My husband and I stayed with Luis in his gorgeous old house and it was lovely. Great location, super clean and Luis is very friendly, helpful and makes you feel welcome. He gave my husband cigars to smoke and was generally great. Cuba was very interesting and it can be confronting so it is nice to have somewhere to stay... More

We stayed in Casa 32 a few days before Christmas 2011 the owner Luis was very welcoming & very helpfull. The casa is close to the main attractions in Vieja & literally 2 mins from the Malacon (the sea front promenade) but at the same time you are living in the same area as the locals which gives your stay... I didn't stay in Luis' place as he was fully booked but he arranged another accommodation for me. However, I still hung out at his place a couple of times to chat and also to arrange the rest of my trip in Havana, and Luis Miguel was priceless in making the whole of my 3 weeks in Cuba a success.... I initially contacted Casa 1932, though unfortunately there was not any availability for the dates I needed. However, the proprietor Luis was able to provide accommodation in Casa 1940 which he also owns. Luis was also extremely helpful in finding other accommodation elsewhere on my itinerary within Cuba, and also arranging taxi pick ups, general advice, and a nice welcome... More

We stayed for 3 nighs - our first nights in Havana at Luis' place. The house i beautiful, rooms well equipped and the host friendly, though business oriented - which we didn't ind. Luis helped us with arranging our all-arround-cuba accomodations and when we faced a situation in Santiago he supported us and help to manage it. We would obviously... More

First of all I really want to thank you Luis and his family to made feel us guest rather than clients! It was our first time to stay in a casa, so to be honest we were a bit stressed about whether was it gonna work for us or not. We sent an email to him to book the place... More

Staying at Casa 1932 was an excellent beginning to our first trip to Havana. We fell in love with Luis Miguel, who was a charming, lively, and helpful host. We thoroughly enjoyed the house, which is decorated with antiques, photographs, and artifacts from the era in which the casa was built, along with other family mementos. The sense of history... More
