We toured Cuba on a self-drive and stayed at a wide range of hotels. Our tour agent, Voyager Cuba, recommended La Granjita rather than Los Caneyes, also in Santa Clara. Havana Tour made the same recommendation. We think however that Los Caneyes would have been a better choice for two reasons: 1. The quality of the food 2. The helpfulness... more

Everything here was fine; rooms, food, cleanliness, service etc but it was 4 kms from town so you needed to take a taxi (4 pesos). The shop was hopeless, but the bar was good. more

We stayed here on the last night of our tour. The rooms are in two storey hexagonal buildings and are quite spacious. The restaurant was huge in comparison with the other hotels that we stayed at, but the service was a little slow. The food was fine, but we really didn't appreciate being serenaded at close quarters by the house... more
