My wife and I stayed with GRI in April and were satisfied with the location, rooms, and service. Probably the best thing about the property was actually the service, the locals which take care of you are all extremely nice and caring. Additionally, Liz is always a pleasure to talk to which is the owner. The location is great, although... More

We visited Bonaire the last week in Feb. and stayed the full week at the Golden Reef Inn. This is a small "plain Jane" place perfect for divers. The owners Liz and Ed are terrific in every way. They allow you to make phone calls back home for free. The bufet breakfast made every morning by Jibby is delicious. This... More

after reading rave reviews we stayed here for our 4th trip to Bonaire. We requested a room on the main site but were initially put off site in a very run down "villa". We were moved on site as I had my paperwork. This was an improvement. The place was clean but bare bones. we had prepaid so I was... More

We are back in the United States after two awesome weeks in warm and friendly Bonaire. I read the reviews on this website and wanted to add my two gilders worth . . . My husband (snorkeler) and I (diver) stayed in Unit 7 at the Golden Reef Inn's original/main location, about one block off of the main road. The... More

My Dive Buddy and I stayed at the GRI in Studio "D" from October 3-10. Things started out ok, we were met at the airport and followed our greeter to the inn, where we were assigned to our rooms. The room was tiny and rather shabby, and we were only given 1 key. My dive buddy and I are just... More

Stayed here from Oct 21 to 28th. Room was broken into while we were sleeping in it. There is something very unnerving about having theives in your room while you are that vulnerable. This is my second attempt at posting my review for the Golden Reef Inn. The first one mysteriously dissapeared. It will be interesting to see if this... More

This was our first visit to Bonaire. We spent a week at GRI in the two bedroom villa and found it to be comfortable, clean and peaceful. Liz and Ed, the owners were very friendly and helpful. We dived with Wannadive and found them to be very professional and friendly also. All the other guests were divers also and it... More

We stayed in their one-bedroom suite and we more than satisfied. The bed was comfortable and the linens were in like-new condition-no stains, no rips, no ugliness. The bathroom was fine. The shower was spacious but in all honesty the water was never hot. A pleasant luke-warm was the best we could get, and that was fine. It was a... More

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Golden Reef Inn. We had fun in the honeymoon cottage. When we arrived at the airport a driver from the Inn came to pick us up. We waited about an hour to get our luggage and the driver told us to go accross the parking lot to get our rental car. However... More
