Quiet and homey, the Coco Palm Gardens was once a large house that has been divided into apartments of various sizes. We rented Mirasol, one of the smaller studios, for a stay of over 2 weeks. We loved it! Each apartment has its own terrace, which is where we spent most of our time. The pictures on the online website... More

This was actually our second trip to Bonaire and second stay in Coco Palm Garden. Our last visit was 8 years ago, and the accommodations have certainly deteriorated since then. Nevertheless, it is still a good value for the money, as long as you are prepared for bedsheet issues and some frustration due to lack of proper maintenance: showerhead which... More

The room was lovely and outdoor area relaxing. We had a couple questions and Marian was very helpful and informative. A great place to relax. The only thing is you do need a rental car to get around, but I think that is true in most cases.

The cost and quality are a great value - spend your money diving and at the many excellent places to eat out - everything inexpensive...we spent 2 weeks and we will go back..BUT BUT BUT - THE BEDS are like early model trailer home mattresses and there is NO mattress pads. The sheets are the cheapest ones every made so... More

We stayed in the apartment Trupial for just over a week. We loved the location in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Our private gazebo was comfortable and quiet. We like simple, clean accomodations, away from crowds and this fit the bill. We appreciate the option of saving a few dollars by not using the airco, as we do not use it... More

My buddy and I were in Bonaire for a week of dive dive dive. We stayed in the Pisca Sonriendo unit of the Coco Palm Garden. It's a HUGE studio with two beds, a nice little patio and hammock in a very private courtyard. OK, some things could have been better (cheap sheets on beds, rusty shelf thing in shower)... More

We stayed at the Pisca Studio, one of four apartments at Casa Oleander, for three weeks. What you get is a clean room with a large bathroom (propane demand hot water heater, so you don't run out), a kitchen with the basic equipment, a patio area with lots of privacy and enough furniture, and lots of birds including parrots flitting... These apartments offer very good value. They are basic, clean places to stay. Mattress was firm, no pad, and flat sheet. We brought along a padded queen top and fitted sheet, and it helped. Kitchen supplies are basic- no sugar, oil, spices. Use prepared foods, or bring your own extras. Water is solar heated. Limited hot water in the mornings.... More

Coco Palm Garden is a great find for the budget traveler who doesn't require a great deal of luxury and appreciates the European concept of a "vacation home". This is not an Inn, not a B & B, not even a small hotel. You are basically renting a large furnished studio or apartment with a kitchen. Located in a nice... More

We spent 3 weeks in the Kas contentu apartment. My first impression was not favorable. An old string mop greeted us at the entrance, and the place felt somewhat dirty and neglected. After many hours of cleaning, my impression was more favorable. The good: The apartment is spacious and private, with a nice big covered porch and a large bathroom... More
