Just got in to New Jersey and very sad to have to leave the Marriott Surf Club. This was my fourth time and like wine... it just gets better. The resort looks amazing. The lazy river is my favorite. The grounds look great and the people friendly as always. The Island itself has changed a bit since my last stay.... more

We traveled to Aruba in May 2009 for our Honeymoon and had a Blast! Our flight arrived late so after the rental car and locating the hotel, we didn't arrive to the surf club until after 11. Don't know if it was the late arrival or the fact that we are owners at a different Marriott location (I think it's... more

We arrived on 8/29 and stayed until 9/6. It was sad to leave. The Marriott's Aruba Surf Club was such a wonderful facility. It was very close to the aiport. When we arrived the Surf Club, check-in did take a while. The line was long, but we finally made it and our room was ready on time. There are not... more

I was nervous after reading other reviews but found the hotel to be wonderful. We had no problem getting pool chairs and the beach was not over crowded. There was no unpleasant smell at beach as others had reported. Our room was not ready but the manager found us one that was. It over looked the pool and straight out... more

My family and I went to the surf club on Aug.14th for a week. We had 2 efficiencies for 7 of us. It was very crowed. I would NOT do that again. We had the furthes building from the beach and there was a funny smell. Overall the grounds were very well manicured and it looked nice. The were not... more

Me and my boyfriend have just returned form the Marriott Aruba Surf Club and we had a great time. I was a little worried because I read previous travelers' reviews, and because we were a young couple going, I was starting to worry that the crowdedness and many kids at the resort would be annoying. Also, we were staying there... more

Just returned from Surf Club and had at fabulous time with our four "young adults" with us. We own at Marriotts Ocean Watch in Myrtle Beach and this was our first trade to Aruba. Our villa was awesome--in the Spyglass Tower overlooking the pool on the 5th floor. I have to agree that the check in took much longer than... more

I just read through the reviews and found them to be very thorough and accurate so I won't repeat what they said! Just adding a few tips and hints especially for the budget-conscious. We didn't rent a car so we learned to get around by walking, taking a cab or the bus. If you like cooking definitely go visit Ling... more

My wife and I are Marriott advocates and as a matter of fact are Marriott time share owners (MVCI). Ft. Lauderdale is our home base. Just returned from a week at Marriott's Aruba Surf Club. It's too big and too noisy. Also, if you don't like too many kids around, little ones, medium ones, or big ones, this is not... more

Our family just returned from a week long stay at the Surf Club and enjoyed our entire stay. We traveled with three teenagers who were very content to wander the area and grounds, work out in the gym, enjoy the pool and beach. We didn't participate in too many organized resort activites but they are available if desired. We did... more
