Add to the perfect location, the island of Aruba close to the equator but cooled by gentle winds, an all inclusive resort with great food, luxury accommodations, beautiful beach and warm service... what could be better? Hint for best food: if you like fish, the grill chef will make you fresh grouper filets (ask them not to add any salt).... More

Dated hotel, tacky, but a great location. Still far from the airport. It looked like some great hotels nearby, and the strip of beach is one of the best in Aruba if that is what you are looking for. The buffet is so so, and was a disappointment in fact. The restaurants are good to so so , but there... More

Our trip ran from Sunday, February 5, 2012, to Friday, February 10th. We flew US Air to Aruba, after booking the trip as a package. Upon our arrival, we opted to utilize a private taxi ride to the hotel, rather than booking ground transport ahead of time. We watched the folks who paid for ground transportation wait while their bus... More

My husband and I used TripGuy Travel to book a vacation week in Aruba for our Anniversary. We wanted a “stress free” romantic vacation with good pool weather in January. Our travel agent recommended Aruba; we chose the Riu Palace, due to their all inclusive plan, and a previous trip to Riu Palace in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico (where the... More

First time in Aruba. Our stay at the Riu with two other couples was great. We found the staff to be very friendly and accomodating. The ocean view junior suite (main building) was quite nice and the view beautiful from the balcony. Cleaning staff in rooms did an excellent job. Food was excellent and abundant. Choice at al-a-carte restaruants was... More

Had all of our valuables taken from our room, camera, laptop etc. by the maid then treated horrible by staff with not even an apology. Aruba is a fantastic place to stay but if you want to come back with what you take, choose a different resort. Very very sad and very very disappointed. More

I've brought our 40 person group to places all over the Carribbean including Jamaica, DR, Mexico, and the Caymans. We LOVED Aruba but our group was disappointed in this hotel. Although the hotel is beautiful and the rooms were very nice, the staff was surly and there were many examples where the hotel is employing aggressive "demand limiting" tactics to... More

We went on this hotel with our timeshare and I must say that we where truely disgusted and disappointed at the state of the rooms. As you enter the hotel lobby area you are greeted with a beautiful coloured stained glass ceiling and a very big chandelier, you think this is a wonderful hotel, I chose well. But as soon... More
