We have been here twice and we will come back – we love this hotel! The first time we picked this hotel was via the website: http://www.bringfido.com/ because we wanted to bring our little white Havanese puppy with us and it worked perfectly that time, so kept coming back. Last time we were here was in November 2011 over Thanksgiving.... More

This hotel is in just the right spot on the beach. While it sits by itself and offers peace and tranquility, it is also on the bus route to the "Hotel area" and the "cruise ship dock/city ctr" And $1.60 or so will get you to each of these areas in 10 minutes and is safe and secure. Our room... More

Recently I returned from the Amsterdam Manor with my parents and had a wonderful time. The hotel has a quant Dutch atmosphere and although it was full never appeared crowded. The beach was wonderful and was not crowded by cruise passengers during our stay. We had some legal documents faxed back and forth from the US and the staff accomodated... More

Stayed for a week at the Amsterdam Manor last April. Great staff, nice tidy rooms with a nearly full kitchen. Beach chairs and towels are all provided for free to guests as well as pallapas - but get there early to make sure you can have shade if you want. And did I mention Passions on the Beach is at... We were day guests from a cruise ship. Easy to get to, cheap chair rental, bar and cafe on the beach ( not CHEAP but not expensive either. Cab, 3 chairs, 7 drinks, 2 meals, full day on the beach, bus fare back--$120 USD. Beautiful resort . Will look into staying here and skip the ship altogether next time. More

What an amazing Honeymoon my husband and I had and it was all thanks to Amsterdam Manor! We were upgraded from a studio to a one bedroom suite upon arrival. We did choose the all inclusive package which is an amazing deal especially when you meet other travelers and spend evenings at the bar above the pool sampling all the... More

I recently stayed at this property with my husband. The short version is that the hotel is ok and we had a lovely vacation, but we probably wouldn't stay there again. I realize I will be alienating the hoards of AMBR fans with a lukewarm review but I do have a disclaimer! My husband and I are happy people- we... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced by the cruise passengers. The reason this has not been mentioned in other reviews before is because we normally only have a few cruise passengers making use of our facilities on the beach. As you mentioned in your review all beaches are public in Aruba... More

We have visited Aruba many times over the years and love the low rise area for it's fantastic beaches. Finding the perfect place to stay since we had our first child a few years back has been a challenge. No longer however. The Amsterdam Manor is fantasitic. We stayed in a very spacious 2 bedroom suite that included private bathrooms... More

Everyone we came across (with the exception of one surly towel boy) at Amsterdam Manor was kind, friendly, and helpful. The beach was BEAUTIFUL and the weather was PERFECT. Unfortunately, the room we stayed in (a superior studio) is a little dark, the ceilings are a little low. With so much beautiful sunlight it's too bad there aren't more windows... More
