I just had to write this after being shocked by some of the other commetns i have just read. I found CBC to be very pleasant although the mozzies were a bit annoying! The staff were extremely helpful but laid back. This is what you need when you come to the carribean. As for the comments people finding the food... more

First, I will say the staff here is friendly, helpful and very aware that they are trying to run a hotel with limited resources and poor facilities. The room: We had a suite, which had an absolutely disgusting front door, with fingerprints all over the inside where the locks are. There was another (smoking) couple in the suite next door... more

This was my first visit to the Coconut Beach, only to meet many many people who were regular visitors to the resort, coming back year after year to enjoy the friendliness of the staff and other guests at whats feels almost like a private club. I picked this place because we did not want a 5 star all singing and dancing resort with hoards of people - and the choice was perfect.If you want to get out and about, hire a car. Rachel and I spent 2 weeks at the CBC. It was the best and most restful holiday in our lives. This is not the place to go if you want a racey life. The bar is the place and the chat between the other guest is the making of a holiday here. The staff are superb and a great asset... more
