Recently, I stayed with my husband at a B&B in the heart of Arthur Machen country (Gwent, Caerleon and Llandegveth). We were on holiday visiting friends and family in the UK and exploring the sights and environs of Wales and the home of Arthur Machan. We stayed four nights in mid April when the weather had turned unseasonable cold and... More

We stayed in the hotel in August for one night only, and it was absolutely fantastic. The room was very clean and extremely well serviced (although you had to duck on the way up the stairs), but that just added to the character. We had the family room on the top floor. When we arrived we were greeted with a... More

We have just paid our 2nd visit to Springfield’s Guest House in Cwmbran and the welcome was just as good as the 1st. Again we were welcomed at the door by Theresa and Trevor, even though we were delayed due to traffic, the slightly later arrival time was not an issue. We wondered if the quality of the accommodation, a... More

Great Guest house, our room was perfect. Comfortable bed, very clean room nicely decorated and homely. We were made to feel welcome. Beautiful dinning room and a fabulous full welsh breakfast. Just one of the many choices of breakfasts available. Short distance away from Cwmbran town centre. More
