If you are looking for a basic overnight stopover along the Hume Highway you could do a lot worse. Staff friendly, room basic but warm. The food is really good, the staff is friendly and they were very helpful. The locals are really friendly too-we had dinner in the motel before we went to bed & it was really nice chatting with with barren & other farming locals! The actual accommodation was decent for a small motel but very clean!

This is the real faulty towers we walked into the office at 11 am to enqire about booking rooms we were abused for not seeing the small sign at door advising the opening hours and accused of unlocking the door which was open became abusive so we left

Accommodation is simple and clean. We enjoyed a beer at the pub with a friendly crowd and the meals were good value. Hosts were friendly and the staff were attentitive and courteous. Overall a good place to stop before heading into Sydney.

The pub attracts less than desirable youth who are not paying customers but are able to stay till all hours and be as loud as they like and use disgusting language at the top of their voices while paying customers are trying to sleep and nothing is done by the owner to appease this at all. After a long day of driving they were extremely helpful as we had a car trailer :) Had a drink at the bar downstairs and ate upstairs in the dining room. Was quick and quite large meals :) Had an adjoining room,nothing fancy however was warm and was supplied tea and coffee facilities. Good rest stop at a reasonable price... More
