On an annual cycle trip we stopped here for a pint. Very friendly staff, a safe place for the bikes, and some bright sunshine.
No complaints, and we're stopping there for lunch on this autumn's trip.
I'll write another review about our luncheon experience after we've been!

Let’s nail a couple of niggles first, because I want to talk the Lagg Hotel up. We didn’t report them so the hotel didn’t have a chance to put them right and it’s thus unfair to mark them down. The TV only had two channels. A curtain draped worryingly onto the convector heater. A fire door was...

Extortionate prices for food and drink. Later on our holiday we met a family who when presented with the price of their sandwiches had left without eating; I wish we'd done the same! Nearly £4 for a bowl of chips, never again!
