What a wonderful place to unwind and find lots of peace and quiet. Great find. Great value. Larry, the caretaker, was most helpful without being at all intrusive. We just came back from a 5 night stay here and we loved it! We had a wonderful stay at the Lonesome Cove. The property is beautiful and set right on the water. The cabins are cute and totally functional. It was fun to barbeque on the deck and watch the sun set. The setting is very private. The proprietor was very helpful. A lovely vacation spot! more
My husband and I stayed five nights at this resort in May 2008. We stayed in the "Loft" cabin which is separate from the other five cabins and is right on the beach.
