Spent the last night of our 6D5N Taipei trip at this resort which was slightly more than an hour away from Ximending by car. Booked a Congo Greenery room via Agoda at about SGD500 which included 3 tickets to Leofoo Village Theme Park, dinner and breakfast for 3 adults. Thought it was rather expensive compared to what we paid for... More

The highlight of this resort is the safari. It is interesting for children to see the animals roaming freely in the middle of the resort. However, there is really nothing much to do. The art and craft builiding is away from the main lobby. The feedings, zoo tour all are pretty expensive. The walkway between the lobby and the rooms... More

We stay here in early April 2013. The room has 1 double bed and 2 single beds even though only 2 persons are sharing the room. We can see the animals right from the hotel window. Has the safari feel to it. My teenage children enjoyed their stay here.

We visited Leofoo after seeing photographs of our friend's similar trip, and it didn't disappoint. We booked ourselves in the "Kenya Greenery Room", which is basically two floors with 3 Queen beds (2 on the second floor, one on the ground floor). One immediately suspects that the resort caters more towards large groups of school children, and that proved to... More

We were so looking forward to our stay at the Leofoo resort at the end of our Taiwan vacation. The experience was a disaster. We booked two nights there(Tues and Wed nights). The staff upgraded us to the suite because the hotel was sold out to a large student group on Wednesday night. But we got charged for another upgrade... More

Stayed one night here during a packaged tour of Taiwan. We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids aged 4.5 and 1.5). The entire resort feels like its in the middle of an African grassland-I've never set foot on Africa yet, but I'd imagine it to be close. Sadly we only checked in around 5pm and had... More

i stayed at 5different hotels during my 11days trip and this was the most expensive at close to S$450 a night. the room was comfortable, nice wall mural, two shower cubicles, two sinks but nothing extraordinary. dinner and breakfast were included, but again, nothing to shout about. the hotel is shaped like a U with animals roaming freely in the... Had a tough time booking the rooms and took whatever we could grab. The rooms were pricey and we were apprehensive after reading some of the reviews. Arrived from TPE in less than 30 minutes by cab - cheaper and more convenient than the hotel pickup service. Arrived in the evening and it was a bit scary as the road... More

My family was there for 2 nights and it was also unfortunate that it rained while the day we were there. For the price, we had expected better programs but other than limited activity (the singular was intended here) and an African dance performance which was great (but repeated) over the same timeslot each night, there was little to do.... Giving a 4 as lack of activity at night except for two dance performances but satisfied overall. Still value for money. Room, dinner, cleanliness n services were superb. The staffs are helpful and efficient. Some suggestions will be: should provide more activities to do at night, accumulate more animals so that not look too empty.
