When I booked this resort through Asia Rooms, I had no idea how far out it was....I was looking for a hot spring resort with communal pool facilities close to Taipei and assumed that all Xinbei resorts were on the Beitou side....wrong! The young garden resort is situated in the north of taiwan in the middle of nowhere. So you have a incredible view. We went on the eve of chinese new year and had a great time there! First, the drive from Taipei city to hotel is easy and quick. We stopped by few nice shops along the way which is nice!
