This lodge is on a working ranch with roaming buffalo heard in the front pasture and a baby horse born the previous day and his mother in the small pasture in front out of the dining hall. Our individual log cabin had three bedrooms, two baths, a fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace and a lovely front porch where we watched... More

We have stayed here one other time. It is very nice. The people at check in are very friendly and helpful. The cabins are clean and large. The only draw back is that there is nothing close by. We stayed there on our way to Bryce. We did take the horse back ride, but our guide did not point anything... More

The best three days of our two weeks in Utah and Arizona. The ranch cabins were rustic and deluxe at the same time (double-head shower and BIG tub with jets). Buffalo roamed the preserve, mares with their new colts grazed outside the fantastic Buffalo Grill windows while we ate, and friendly, down-to-earth staff made our stay perfect. There was plenty... We had a very nice log cabin, but certainly not and old time one! Nice bath with jetted tub and private potty room. Comfortable bed, nice sitting area. I loved the tables with Native American markings on them. Very nicely decorated. Recommend! More

Had a cabin with 2 King beds and a futon for family of 5. Beds were comfortable and cabin was spacious enough for a 4 day stay. About a 25 minute ride into Zion visitor center where we caught the shuttle to explore Zion. Also took a trip to Bryce, about 70 minutes away. Stocked up on groceries from a... More

This was the first place we stayed on our honeymoon to the parks of southern Utah. We stayed 3 nights in the Buffalo Vista Grand Suite. The cabin was really nice featuring a hot-tub, fireplace, small kitchen space, large windows/porch facing the park and a large bathroom. The room was well taken care of and the service was friendly. The... More

Very serene, beautiful setting, quiet working ranch. Just know what you are getting. The picture perfect cabins with red roofs, views of the Buffalo and horses and mountains do exist and they are beautiful! (And from what I read, they are also very updated and comfortable. If you are looking for less expensive (if you consider $169/night less expensive...), you... More

Just got back from 3 nights at Zion Mountain Ranch. Although i'm ranking this overall very good, there were some things that occurred that were average or below. I'll go through in detail. The location is at the East entrance of Zion nataional park, so if you're coming from Las Vegas is adds about 40min to your driving time, as... More

Conveniently located just outside Zion National Park, this was a fantastic ranch. Each "room" was a upscale log cabin. We stayed in 158 with a front porch, nice views of roaming buffalo, small kitchen, eating table, living area and an amazing and beautiful bathroom. We had a giant shower with multiple heads and a large jacuzzi tub - both wonderful... More

The setting is beautiful. The cabins are new, clean, roomy with great porches for watching the sky, the herd of buffalo that roam, the surrounding peaceful landscape. The restaurant associated with the property is amazing---The Bison Grill---is charming and cozy with creative food and a chef who cares about local and organic ingredients. We had a beef filet that was... More
