we took a cowboy cabin in the ponderosa ranch resort - the idea was to get some kind of 'authentic' american experience. well, the cabin itself was not that bad - fully made of wood, with queen bunk bed, and space to park the car right near the cabin. however, the area near the cabin was not attractive - no... Oh the BEST service and hospitality received in that remote area. FREE WIFI and signal strength is really awesome. Although phone service is NULL and they don't have phone lines inside the cabin. Its a private resort and a mile away from Zion national park. Its about another 5 miles driving on North Fork. Please drive slowly on way to... More

We had an amazing vacation at Zion Ponderosa this July. We are a family of 3 and we teamed up with our best friends who have 4 kids and splurged to rent a home at Zion Ponderosa. We had an AMAZING vacation. With just minutes to the Zion National Park and an hour from the Grand Canyon and an hour... More

The Ponderosa is a great place for a family vacation! There are lots of activities to chose from, but for most of them you need to buy tickets which are $10 each. We took advantage of the horse back riding, ATV riding, and the sunset jeep tour. All were a lot of fun! The guys especially liked the ATV riding... More

This was an awesomel vacation for us. Everyone we met here was so friendly & the resort was great. We stayed in the Mtn View Cabin & it was awesome. Really felt homey & made it so much more enjoyable. It was certainly a different experience being on a bike. It was great to have laundry facilities since we didn't... More

We stayed here on our recent trip to Zion NP. The cabin was roomy and had a kitchenette with mini-fridge, coffee maker and microwave. The fireplace was very enjoyable and they sell logs at the front desk. Unfortunately, there were several spiders, which I guess can be expected in a rustic cabin, but were not pleasant when found by the... More

We stayed in a bare-bones cowboy cabin for two nights. Quite comfortable; could easily house five or even six (with small children). All the towels, blankets and pillows one could ask for, Showers and toilets just up the hill. Cabin was half-price when purchased along with $99 worth of vouchers which we used for a horseback ride (lots of ups... More

Stayed in a cowboy cabin in September for three nights. We were very happy with the room. Queen size bunk... very comfortable. Couch, small table and dresser with many extra towels. There is not a place to hang things, but we worked it out. No bathroom, but the bath-house was very large and clean. We were only able to get... More

We stayed here for four nights in a popup. The resort backs up to Zion National Park, so the area is hilly, and filled with junipers. As far as amenities, they had lots of clean bathrooms and showers, a pool and hot tub, decent wifi, and beautiful surroundings. My husband and I biked some of the surrounding areas, plus we... More

The cabin we stayed in was so nice, and only minutes away from the east enterance to the national park. The staff was fantastic and went the extra mile to make sure all our needs were met. The food at the lodge was good and the activities on the property were a lot of fun. It was so much better... More
