Sol Doc Hot Springs is an amazing place... management leaves a lot to be desired. Waited 45 minutes to simply register. Wanted a map of the park - hiking trails and such, there was nothing available. Felt fortunate to get a spot in the RV park - it was ok as long as you didn't step off the dirt parking... More

Very nice campground, very quiet, beautiful trees and very nice hiking, but it would be nice to have a shower. The shower at the hot springs is a community shower. The hot springs smell like rotten eggs, but it was great soaking in the hot pools and then get into the cold pool for swimming. The kids loved it. The... More

We made a reservation and clearly told the person we had a family of 4. We got the charge (which they charge 100% of the first night when you resever PLUS 10%). I noticed that the reservation had "2 adults" and that they charge $23 extra per child so I called to find out. We had already paid $185 for... More

This was the second spot on the tour of the park with my husband on our honeymoons. The cabins were very cute. We actually had lunch right next to the hot springs, from their onsite side shop. We also looked at all the knick knacks in the gift shop. After we came from the hot springs, we automatically went straight to... More

Just to take note - there are no reservations at this camground. If you want to get a site, arrive early in the day before 2pm or else on busy weekends the campground will be full. We arrived by noon and were able to get the last 2 sites next to each other. We had a family group of 16... More

We have camped at this campground many times. Always we have slept in the van and gone to the hot pools and gone hiking during the day and to the one restaurant in the evening. If you are addicted to quiet, it is probably one of the quietest places left on earth as it is at the end of a... More

Even on the coldest, wetest day of the year Sol Duc is the place to be. Oblivious of your surroundings when you're in the pools. Last time I was there it was a torrential downpour but it didn't matter. More

As with most campgrounds, some spots are nicer than others. We like to tent camp and enjoy finding some privacy. If you look, there are a few great spots here. Over the years we've stayed at many locations in this campground. Surrounded by mammoth old growth trees, you feel like an elf in a wonderland. Our children always loved it,... More

My family gets together once a year and all go camping. Their is 5 adults and 8 children that go. All the children were playing freeze tag with their uncles and we were told by Jodi the camp host that we were being to loud even though it was two in the afternoon. So we stopped. Later that day the... More
