My wife and I were here this past summer in July for the day. We've been to other hot springs and this one isn't the best nor the worst. It's great to have warm water to soak in on a cloudy cold damp NW day! However, none of the pools were hot and all felt like standard swimming/wading pools -... More

this was my first hot spring experience. the cabin was cute and adequate. we hiked to sol duc falls (beautiful) then soaked in the hot pools (crowded). The place is pretty remote and the restaurant closes early, we barely made it. the food was good and the service was friendly. i will return someday. More

Camp in the campground or stay at the lodge. A lodge stay gives you a discount at the pools. More

The first time we visited, in March 2009, there was a power outage due to high winds. This provided a feeling of adventure and the staff rose to the occasion until the power (and heat and cooking facilities) were restored. Our cottage was cozy and beautiful......especially the bed linens. We have been back 5 or 6 times since. The excellence... More

Fresh air. hot springs, quiet evenings, great food ,good service and a great location met us at Sol Duc hot Springs. The cabin was comfortable and clean, the staff warm and friendly, and it remained that way for 4 days of our visit. More

Amazingly quite serene place. Cabins were clean and beds were very comfortable. Hot Spring pools were just rejuvenating. The deers family visit every evening was very much enjoyable. The river calm and the chirping birds.... all so serene. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definately visit again. More

Sadly, my wife I were looking forward to this stay and it turned out to be much less than hoped for. We were on a special trip after my retirement from teaching. We rented a cabin for one night. The room was clean but the quilt on the bed was torn, there was no curtain on the bathroom window and... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in September 2011. Had a cabin with 2 queen beds, which was clean and comfortable. Cabins have no phones or TV so it was nice and quiet! Hot springs admission was included with our stay, and we enjoyed all of the pools....The hot pools were a little crowded, but I had the olympic sized swimming... More

Being from Texas we were looking forward to staying in the Olympic national forest and enjoying hiking and using the hot water pools. Sol duc hot springs "resort" is a worn out, unattractive group of small cabins close together in an area with no trees which smells like overflowing sewage. (we were told that's just the natural rotten egg smell... More

From the pictures on the internet I was unsure of what the cabins would be like. Our stay was mid-September and the resort wasn't crowded. We were pleasantly surprised with how nice they were. We stayed in a non-kitchen cabin with two beds. The room was clean and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was amazing! The entire staff... More
