Of the two lodges on the Park, we felt that the Paradise Inn had the better location and amenities. The view is spactacular, with the mountain right outside your window and a beautiful view overlooking a scenic valley. The accomodations are adequate but not fancy. The common lounge area is quite lively and there was a very good piano player... More

Historical building with an impressive lobby area. Rooms are nothing but basic. Location is perfect for hiking. You will see Mt. Rainier in front of your eyes and trails are everywhere around this rustic charming hotel. The restaurant inside is quite good. We enjoy late breakfast and dinner there while we are staying. Another advantage of staying here is you... More

Rainier was spectacular in August. The Paradise Inn did not ruin our experience of Ranier but we highly recommend you find another place to stay. We booked a room for our anniversary during August. When we got to our room, the windows were covered in paper and we could not see out of them or open them. Outside was a... More

This is one of the best places to stay in Mt. Rainier National Park. The location is perfect for hiking in the Paradise area or for having a glass of wine at night with a great view of the mountain. My husband and I liked it here overall because of the location, the bed was comfortable enough, and the bathroom... More

We recently spent 2 nights at the Paradise Inn. We love the national park lodges, and this one did not disappoint. The location and the views are amazing. Although I had read enough reviews to expect a small room, I must confess to being a little shocked at just how small the room was! But we quickly realized we would... More

A rustic national park inn built in 1917. The rooms are small and basic, but the setting is spectacular. We were in the lowest price rooms--double bed, sink, single window with not much of a view--but step outside for one of the best views in the world (if the weather cooperates) the lounge is casual with lots of people reading,... This is a fantastic hotel. For a park that is 97% wilderness, you cant get any better than Paradise Inn. The views are amazing, and its accessibility to the Visitor's Center and various short hikes cannot be beaten. The Paradise Inn is an example of why it pays to do your homework and have appropriate expectations for a stay. The... More

We came up here for the last weekend of operations. I have been to Paradise numerous times, starting when I was younger, and had always wanted to stay. So, finally, we went up on a whim. The lodge is very nice, with a huge, rustic sitting area, with two fireplaces and numerous places to sit, read, enjoy a glass of... More

If you are going to Paradise Inn for all the frills of a big city hotel then don't stay here. However, if you are going to Paradise Inn for the beauty of what men could build back in the day then please go. The Inn is breathtaking. The rooms are small but in the old times one didn't need much.... More
