This is a destination fishing lodge but there is plenty of wildlife and sites nearby if fishing is not your only interest. The fishing, however, was excellent.

You can bring all your stuff, or nothing. The Lodge will supply you with rod, reel, waiters, boots, etc. This was extremely convenient for those in our group that had never fly fished before. There is a well stocked mini fly shop on the grounds in case you forgot something.

The lodge has it's own landing strip and we were greeted by the manager and staff immediately upon touching down. No time was wasted transferring bags, passing out room keys, issueing fishing licenses, providing equipment and getting us out on the Kulik River to fish.

Our visit was in later September which was a little late for the silver salmon but we caught ample rainbows and artic char. The Kulik River is immediately adjacent the lodge while we did short flyouts to the American and Brroks rivers on other days. Guides were... more
