We stayed here on 7th May following a very long, cold, rainy, snowy day followed by huge hail stones. After an average dinner in the very busy cafe, we were allotted our rooms by our tour guide and given block 4, room 7064. The room was very cold and felt like a concrete prison cell when we arrived at 9pm,... More

At the end of April my husband and I stayed 2 nights at Yavapai West. Two queen beds, small but adequate bathroom, wonderful toiletries, an unexpected flat screen TV of decent size, very clean. No A/C at Yavapai West, but certainly not needed in April (we used the heater!). The staff was friendly and effecient. I wouldn't recommend the cafeteria... More

Stayed in the East buildings based on previous reviews stating that they were recently remodeled. As commented on, they are nicely appointed, the beds comfortable and the promixity to the bus stop is good too. We opted to drive to the various points we went to as it was a bit chilly during our stay but many points are well... More

We stayed at the part of the hotel that has access to the rooms from a corridor. I would recommend this since the location is better. It's nearer to the rim and the centre. The room was ok, nothing fancy but ok. The pricing on both the hotels and the restaurants are the same on all three hotels in the... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights during the beginning of May. We stayed in Yavapai East with a king bed. The check-in process was easy and the staff extremely friendly. The area has great amenities within easy walking distance. Though it doesn't look like much from the outside, the room was beautiful. Recently updated and modern, it had... More

We stayed here the first week of May. I was pleasantly surprised at how nicely decorated the rooms were (We stayed in Yavapai East). They include a coffee pot and fridge. This is helpful since there is a huge grocery store nearby within walking distance. Just as everyone mentioned, there are many parking spots out front. Initially, I had wanted... More

My husband and I stayed at Yavapai for 2 nights on part of a cross country road trip. It was a good spot to stay on the rim. we stayed in yavapai west, in an upstairs room. The park was busy, but the lodge was good as there was plenty of parking space and it was only a short drive... More

We stayed here while visiting the south rim, we wanted to stay for one night. I was impressed with how nice the rooms were considering it's in a national park. Flat screen TV, coffee pot, AC in the room. We had a 2nd floor room in the 1st building and it was perfect. We had a great night's sleep and... More

Our room on the East side (the recently renovated side) was unexpectedly beautiful and updated -- reminded me somewhat of downtown Toronto condo living. Ask for a room in building 1 or 2 or 3 to be closer to the main lodge/cafeteria/shuttle stops. There was a high quality sofa that flips open into a bed (not a flimsy pull-out couch)... More

This was in a quiet area away from traffic and noise. You also don't have to fight for parking, which is a real problem at some of the rim lodges. However this also means that you have to walk or drive to the main Yavapai area which has the registration desk, cafeteria, grocery store, deli, post office etc. Our room... More
