Trailer Village is a great place to stay if visiting the Grand Canyon. In fact, if you want to stay at the Grand Canyon and want hook ups, this is the only option. The site we stayed at was not level, therefore, be ready to make some adjustments. Many trees surround the campground and RV sites, so be very careful... More

The route was well marked with easy access. I recommend arriving during the day since there is no additional lighting at the sites. If you will be using the park bus service try to stay within the first rows to be closer to the bus stop. Buses run before 6 a.m. and into the evening so it makes access to... More

Cheap, but pretty limited. Small clean toilets. Unfortunately, as it was predicted to be below zero we had winterized the RV and so had no water and there didn't appear to be anywhere to wash up the dishes. The showers are also at Mather campsite and we really couldn't be bothered to walk after walking all day. It seems strange... More

We told them that we may be here on either Tuesday or Wednesday when we made our RESERVATIONS for the trailer village. They said that it was fine and they took our credit card number and said they would save us a spot. Late Wednesday night we arrived, only to find that they had given away our place on Tuesday... We stayed here in early December 2012. It is in a great location And the staff were very friendly and helpful. Their knowledge of the area is extremely helpful and educational. The trailer park is very close to the south rim and a regular shuttle arrives every 10 minutes to take you to numerous lookout locations around the canyon. We... More

You just can't beat the location. Located just 1/2 mile from the south rim with a convenient bus stop, Trailer Village is an excellent place to start your Grand Canyon adventure. The sites are plenty wide and long, we had sufficient room for our 2 slide outs and could have left our tow vehicle attached to our 31' RV. The... More

We just ended a week long stay at this campground. We have been to the grand canyon many times and always stayed outside the park. Williams is over 40 miles away and Tusayan campgrounds are limited in service. This campground has full hookups for only $35 a night which is a bargain at any campground. The bus service is right... Check in was fine for us - easy and the trailer parking spot was ok. It ain't the fanciest of RV parks but our visit was all about the Grand Canyon, not the digs, so was just fine for our family for three nights. Hook-ups all worked; ablutions clean (and heated on chilly mornings of Thanksgiving week) and place neighbours... More

We had an easy check-in process when we arrived after getting helpful directions from at the NPS gate. Our pitch was reasonably level as they go. The main reason to stay here is the location and the fact it has full hookups in the middle of the Grand Canyon National Park. Once your up in the morning you can get... More

After reading many of the reviews posted here before our trip to the Grand Canyon, I wasn't expecting much when we arrived at Trailer Village yet I was still disappointed. First, the check-in process was painfully slow with the employee taking phone calls and casually chatting with anyone who stopped by the office while we waited. We'd made a point... More
