We really enjoyed Trailer Village. We had an end site with excellent shade (site G36). We brought our two dogs so it was a great place for them. The walk to Mathers Campground was nice. Not too far but good exercise. For $2 you get an 8-minute shower...heaven! The gentleman who welcomed us, Mike, was very nice and gave us... More

Very good RV park, dirt pads, clean heated toilets but had to go near the Mather Campground on the main road to use the showers/laundry. We only had to walk down to the entrance of the RV park and jump in a free shuttle that took us to all of the Grand Canyon Sites. If you are not a hiker,... More

My husband and I stayed here recently and we were suprised that the camp site was right in grand canyon park. A shuttle bus came to the site so we could just park our rv then take the shuttle to some of the popular over look sites and the marketplaces. The only problem we had was that when we got... More

I arrives at trailer village approx 3 am on friday morning. I called in advance to let the park know that we would arrive later than expected. We were told that nobody works in the park after 4 pm. They informed us that they would post our name on the window of the entrance with our camp space lot #.... More

For RV travellers, this is the preferred choice. There is another privately run RV campground just outside the national park. I stayed there for 2 nights and quite frankly, would not go back unless the Trailer Village/Grand Canyon was unavailable. The check in office staff could be a little more welcoming by showing a bit more smiles.... the campground location... More

The places are more than big enough for standard RVs and have full hookup. Only a few toilets are available and no showers. A shuttle bus station is located directly in front of the park. No cell phone access and no WLAN. Its the best location around Grand Canyon for motorhomes. More

We went to Grand Canyon with our 3 grandchildren with our 27' 5th wheel trailer and F-250. I made reservations using their phone reservation system only about 2 weeks in advance and had difficulty getting sites for a 3 night stay. I had to reserve 2 different sites: one long site for one night, and for the other 2 nights... More

I'm sorry to say but I agree with the poster below this one. This RV park is in dire need of some attention. We stayed at Trailer Village in May 2011 in the E street, though I can't recall what our site number was. When we arrived at the park to check in, I entered the area for check in... More

We thought we'd stay for three days May 15,16 and 17th Sp#E22. We left the next day due to extremely poor site conditions throughout. Asphalt crumbling at spaces and road, grass under picnic tables to top of tables in most if not all spots, making it difficult to sit and use. Ground and perimeter very uneven and in need of... More
