Got transferred here for our second night from Denali Bluff Hotel. This is a whole grade better. A separate pull out sleeping couch accommodated four of us very nicely. Very modern and yet rustic as the cabins were amongst lots of woods. A few hundred yards walk from back cabins to the front road or main building if you choose... More

Stayed for two nights. Had a small sitting room, plus small bedroom, which had a double bed and a twin. Both were up against the wall. Couldn't sleep with my husband because I would have to crawl over him to get out of bed. Never saw room service to make the beds. Bathroom was adequate. Breakfast in the Cafe was... More

We stayed at the Chalet as part of our Holland America Cruise Tour package and we found the room clean and ample is size. Nothing glamorous about the room but it is in a national park. The Café had a very nice breakfast with an option of having either a full hot/cold buffet or cold breakfast at a price that... More

Very disappointed with the customer service. I booked a Chalet Mini Suite for 2 nights in June. I booked these rooms almost 6 months in advance and had a 2 for 1 coupon through the tour saver book. When we arrived we were quickly told that the hotel had been overbooked, but that we were in for a treat because... More

Stayed 2 nights of August 21/22. Units are in blocks of 4x2 with our unit on the top level. Units A-K seem to be refurbished and are close to the cafe/restaurant/reception on a ridge many with views whereas other units are on a lower level (river side) and have a shuttle to take you to reception - it can be... I was organzing for about 65 people arriving on the rails but not by train. We arrived very late on our first trip but the hospitality team (Joe Heyon on Transportation, Paulette Parson on Guest Services) did an amazing job of collecting us at Healy and getting us settled at the resort. Paulette then worked with me over the next... More

This lodging option for us was part of a land package through Holland America. The room was a good size, but smelled rather musty. The window in our first floor room was open (we discovered this after our first night's stay) and so may be evidence of lack of attention to detail. The bathroom could have been better maintained; not... More

I realize that choices in this area are limited and you will pay top rate for the privilege of being so close to Denali Nat'l Park, but, really....there is no need to not keep these knotty pine rooms up to date and CLEAN. When I entered the bathroom first thing I noticed was the hair all over the floor. Absolutely... More

While the location was great, I think the price we paid was very high considering the quality of the room. More

While this lodge rated just a tick better than average, it was one of the two nicer resorts within range of Denali Park. Rooms were relatively basic; beds were firmer than I prefer and the bathroom was basic, but clean. The restaurants were okay, but not particularly inspired. You can get a really good meal, though maybe not as fancy,... More
