We had stayed here in 2006 and were pleasantly surprised to find that the rooms had been refurbished to a really high standard. They were also spotlessly clean as was the whole pub. If you're planning a quiet relaxing break this might not be the place to stay unless you're planning on being the last one standing at the bar.
