Have had Sunday lunch at the Neptune occasionally over the last year. The starters, main courses and puddings have been consistently excellent with generous portions of freshly cooked food. We had two meals at The Neptune, whilst on holiday in the area. Both meals were excellent. Good menu choice. Great bar staff. Thoroughly good value for money. A wonderful log fire was lit. The rooms were modern, clean and spacious and the beds were very comfy. All the staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The food was excellent including breakfast. Hotel bar areas were cosy and well maintained. We stayed in the brown room, which was a lovely modern but cosy room with sea views. Room was clean and linen was of good quality. Shower was very good. Managers were very accomodating with check out time and always friendly. The cooked breakfast was excellent. Car parking available. More
