Overall, this B&B was charming. Setting was pretty, room was clean, hosts very accomodating and breakfast wonderful. The biggest issue we had was the overwhelming "farm" smell. My husband and I stayed here with our three dogs for two nights and had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. This is a typical country farmhouse, decorated and furnished sympathetically with lots of polished oak furniture and comfy sofas! I stayed for one night., The location is very convenient for the cove, the door, castle and Tyneham etc.. the farm house is attractive, the breakfast is excellent and the room I stayed in was well thought out, lots of nice white towels, classic furniture, good tv with freeview, kettle and good tea etc... We stayed at Burngate Farm and much enjoyed our trip to this historic and charming house. Our hosts were very kind, and gave us lifts around the area to help with walks which was much appreciated. Would certainly recommend and return. More

Went for a short break and could not have chosen a better B&B. Geat value compared to other establishments nearby. Friendly welcome, well maintained and clean guest rooms. We were given the 'small' room which was anything but small. Breakfast was first class, good selection for meat eaters and vegans alike. More

What excellent value for money this B&B is. They even accepted our dog free of charge. Carpets in bedroom were stained but who's going to worry about that when the bed is comfortable, the room spacious and the breakfast superb. More

Loved the location, very peaceful. Our room was lovely, only thing we didn't like was no lock on door, and no way to have heating on. The breakfast was lovely. The bacon and homemade bread was the best part. More
