My wife, daughter and I arranged to stay Saturday 19th May in order that I could run the Padula half marathon on the Sunday morning. We were researching family history in the area and found this hotel mentioned on several websites. We stayed two nights. It is in the valley of Padula opposite the main entrance to the Certosa San Lorenzo. Plenty of parking, not too far off the autostrada. In March 2004, I came to Padula on a bus, at night, speaking very little and poor Italian. The bus stops are in deserted locations with no taxis in site.
