The Hotel is in a busy little town and walking down the street we were greeted with friendly 'hello's'. The hotel staff were kind and well meaning in the way they dealt with us. We were happy with our rooms; but realistic about the age of the building and all that would go along with that. Ok, the music was... More

Never stayed at the hotel but have been in for food in the bar, on a number of occasions. The food is very good but it is spoiled by the very unprofessional and unfriendly bar staff. The girls who work there, seem to hate their jobs, never smile and have made us feel as if we are a inconvenience to... More

Every year in June we go to the Clancy Brothers Festival, (not to be missed,) and stay at The Carraig Hotel. It's located in the middle of the town with parking across the street for 2 Euro. It's a very easy town to drive into. The rooms are spacious, the staff is very helpful and kind, and the food in... More

First of all this hotel has no car park, you either park in an unattended public car park or you park in the street....I could not recommend this hotel to anyone...the breakfast may be good but that does not make up for two sleepless nights....The noise is just unbearable from inside the hotel and outside in the street...drunken yobs fighting... Dear Guest, We describe ourselves as town centre hotel so street noise is inevitable. We are sorry you had a negative experience at the hotel that was influenced by outside activity that was beyond our control. The majority of our customers are very happy with the service we provide at a very competitive price. Thank you for your candid comments,... More

Firstly, we made tremendous time down from Dublin and arrived outside the hotel at 10am on the Sunday morning Jan 29th. After sitting for 5 mins or... More
