Stayed here for three nights. The most tranquil place with marvellous food, the starters for dinner were amazing, so many choices and all so good, oysters won. Main courses excellent I opted for catch of the day, John Dory. Not normally a pudding eater I did sample them and yummy they were too. We had room 4, a wonderful upstairs... More

Our stay here was fantastic. It was a beautiful building, lovely rooms, we were served a beautiful multi-course breakfast in the courtyard with the sun beaming down. Owners were friendly and courteous. The grounds were stunning with one side leading down to the bay. The dog, Halo, was a bit scary but friendly as well, Hahaha. The dinner in the... More

Returning for our ninth visit to Blairs Cove once again we enjoyed the splendour and peace of this West Cork gem. Lovely cottage great restaurant and the tin pub not so far away. Perfection! Even if you might need your waterproofs now and thenyou can always curl up in front of the fire with a good book.

We were attending the West Cork Chamber Festival recently and booked for a week at Blaircove House which overlooks the stunning Dunmanus Bay, and staying in a courtyard suite [BC3]. We opted for the B & B service. What an amazing week! The suite was on two levels, with the open plan large bedroom and bathroom up a spiral staircase.... More

Was here for a wedding. What an amazing loaction! Beautiful surroundings and the apartments and restaurant were also nice. The driveway however, was covered in potholes, or should I say, man holes. The food on the day of the wedding was great, cannot complain about that, very tasty and not your standard wedding food menu you would expect. However, the service... More

Thank you for this review and the well deserved praise for Cathy our housekeeper. She has been with us for a very long time and is a much trusted and appreciated member of our staff. We are sorry that we did not get to meet you on this occasion. Having a B&B yourself you know that one has to be... More

The location is very pretty but the room we had directly over the restaurant is jaded in terms of decor. The breakfast is very nice and homemade. While the restaurant is pricey it is very good but be prepared to be pressurised into having the 'famous starter' by the owner. Overall it's way overpriced for the accommodation standard.

we stayed in the cottage as we have done for a few years now over the summer. As ever it is a true delight a fantastic sense of escape and yet a few yards from the great restaurant which is a must visit. already looking orward to next year.
