We spent one night at Genghis Khan in the Golan. We enjoyed the whole experience. Sara and her husband have done an amazing job building a tasteful and comfortable campsite in the middle of the Golan. The Mongolian tents are really colorful and comfortable. We were three, sharing one of the tents with our own bathroom and shower. There is... More

We just got back from 2 nights @ Genghis Khan. We were ~7 families, with lots of kids - the setting is perfect, the yurts (tents) were very comfortable and clean, basic (but clean) bathroom/shower adjacent to each yurt. Kitchen well organized, meeting all of our needs, and exceeding expectations. Lots of room for the kids to run around. Plenty... More

We spent a night in Sara's special Genghis Khan camp. The yurts are wonderful, made from wood and fabric by the owners good hands. It was lovely and clean and warm even in February with the powerful air condition that inside the yurt. This nice camp is magnificent kingdom for kids. My big one (3 years old) was feeling at... I enjoyed getting away from the city - whilst still having a lot of things to do in the local area. If you need even more suggestions, Sara will help you out. The Yurts, Kitchen and Amendities were clean and tidy. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a break. A+ More

We enjoyed the place, the tents, the sphere and the tips we got from Sara and her daughter about trips in the area. What we also liked very much were the herbs in the small garden next to the kitchen. Also the tour during the milking of the cows was very interesting. It's a nice place to go to with... More

We spent only one night in this funny and beautifull place and everything was ok. Even if we slept on the floor the mattresses were very comfortable . More

There are lots of good reviews of Genghis Khan in the Golan on TA - unsurprisingly, as it is well run, friendly and a little bit different. You'll struggle to get here without a car, however. To get there, just enter Givat Yoav through the yellow gate and turn right at the petrol station. Cross the junction and the site... More

We are a family of two adults and 4 kids. Sara made us feel very welcome and we were fantastically comfortable. There is a great kitchen and we dined out in the beautiful gardens, there are plentiful herbs growing for tea and cooking. Bliss! More

Me and my brother stayed at the Ghenghis Khan for two nights. We went hiking in the souther n Golan area and found that the Ghenghis Khan was ideally placed for this purpose. Sara, the owner, was extremely friendly and made us feel right at home. The idea of sleeping in Mongolian tents was new to us, but we enjoyed... More
