A wonderful taste of a thoroughness and community effort! Beautiful location, jaw dropping views and full of Biblical and Political significance. Scrupteous food and lovely dinning room with inspiring views. Facilities very well presented and planned. Roomy rooms :-) and such a spacious feel of walk ways, balconies and privacy. Perfect architectual concept for location. A warm privelege to see... More

My husband and I and his brother and wife spent 3 nights at this Kibbutz owned Resort on the Sea of Galilee. We have family that lives on Kibbutz Ein Gev just 1/2 mile down the road. I highly reccomend this hotel. While the rooms are basic, you do have internet and flat screen TVs. There is a beach with... More

Cottages on the beach are a must-stay. Clean and comfortable with grassy areas all around for lounging or cooking on the grill. Gentle sea breezes cool the evenings. Meals in common dining hall are definitely satisfactory. Sometimes difficult to get reservations, but managed to luck out on a moment's notice. Very nice restaurant also run by the kibbutz and tours... More

Stayed this side of Lake Tiberias as all the inns were full in Tiberias itself (well, it is traditional at Christmas!). Very glad we did as it was lovely. We had little bungalow chalets with a large double bed, wardrobe,TV and seating area, plus a separate bedroom for the children, with bunk beds and a single. There was a kitchenette... More

I was so glad that we opted for Ein Gedi instead of the packed Tiberias. We arrived at the Kibbutz in the early evening and were upgraded to a bungalow over looking Tiberias with an amazing sunset over the Sea of Galilee. We had our own porch and back yard. The master bedroom had huge windows overlooking the water. There... More

The staff was incredibly friendly and willing to help, which was great since customer service can be hard to find in Israel. The location was great for our first trip to the Galilee. It's right on the sea. The breakfast was large and tasty. We didn't eat dinner at the restaurant at the resort, but a mile or so up... More

We arrived at Ein Gev after 10 days in Jerusalem. This location was everything that Jerusalem is not- (meaning-quiet and relaxing). We had a small cottage on the shore of the Sea of Galilee ("The Kinneret" these days). The cottage was clean and neat, and was well laid out to offer maximum space and convenience. This is a traditional Kibbutz... More
