The hotel is a superbly renovated monastery with an own brewery. The rooms are very spacious, the bathrooms are beautifull and you have fully comfy rooms in an old and very well maintained building. The little spa is just gorgeous, the restaurant beautifull and the local food is good (and the portions very generous). The ratio qulity/price is excellent. The... More

We chose this hotel because I was doing a quality management course at the education centre. It certainly exceeded our expectations. The room was one of the most stylish we have stayed in anywhere in Germany - certainly there were single mattresses on the bed but that's Germany for you: only the big international hotels have full double mattresses. The... More

We were there for two nights, the hotel staff was really kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and had everything we need. Very comfy bed (even with the fact that it was two single mattresses on two single beds pushed together) its a beautiful village middle of nowhere and we loved our stay. More

This is certainly something different, a hotel surrounded by a monastry that has a brewery. The rooms are basic with no extras like soap or shampoo and I believe most of the bed are singles. There are no other amenities like sauna or gym but there is a wonderful bar/retaurant with all the home brews where you could easily spend... More

This place on arrival blows you away. It is part of a working monastery, complete with village, cathedral, brewery and hotel. What a combination! Rooms are reasonably luxurious with excellent views and fittings. The only real downside is with the single beds in some of the rooms which are narrow and the bells from the monastery which start far too... More
