Absolutely wonderful place outside of a quiet and lovely andalucian village of Nijar. Owners are the nicest people imaginable, rooms are cosy and very clean, food absolutely delicious and the view from the hotel breathtaking. I can't wait to come back there as soon as possible!!! In a word: stunning. It's a former farmhouse that's been converted into a boutique hotel. Cortijo La Alberca was a little tricky to find. However, upon arrival we found the place to be a bastion of tranquility. I loved this place. The views are spectacular and the pool inviting. The room is on the small side but clean and cute with a little terrace by the door. The staff (Mustafa) is charming, polite and always helpful. The breakfast which is included is amazing with ample choice of local products. The beaches nearby are unspoilt and truly beautiful. More
