After 2 trips to Palolem and Patnem, and a wide choice of places to eat, we still come back to home at least once a day. The specials of the day include salads, tarts and soups, all freshly made from seasonal ingredients. The owner, Richard, works the kitchen with a passion. Came from Jaipur to stay at Home for end of 2 weeks in India........ really was beautiful . Its managed by an English couple who were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious fruit salad muesli and fresh juices rostii . Pear and Stilton tart was divine....and wow ....beetroot risotto with goats cheese and vodka... Unbelievable to be eating this... My favourite lunchtime hangout. Food is so wonderfully fresh. Red onion and goats cheese tart or spinach and feta tart both served with crisp leaf salad. This place frustrated me. We stayed at the end of the season 2012 (i.e. coming into monsoon time) and it felt like everybody and everything was tiring. Nice ambiance with nice view of beach and pleasant relaxing music on a quiet beach (compared to Palolem Beach). Vegetarian with a nice twist. We stayed here for 5 nights after at the end of a three week trip around India. The location of home is magical, it's very laid back, the beach is beautiful and literally on your doorstep.
