Reading the other evies seem to come from people that either work at thios castle or must be friends becase what is said is not what we experienced. The small rooms were poky to say the least and the walls were so thin we heard other people using the loo . The beds were uncomfortable and we all had sore backs... More

We stayed in annexe next to castle there was five of us and we were given the whole annexe even although there was a vacant room unused. The breakfasts were wholesome and very well presented and cooked and served in the castle dining room. Great value for money and we heartily recommend this place. More

Exploring the Highlands in Aug, 2009 required a stay in a castle. Kilravock was our choice and my husband and I we were very pleased. We were aware that one could not stay in the castle iteself, but not unexepcted since its 500 years old. Our room was clean, comfortable and had a lovely window to the grounds, which are... More

I booked this Castle knowing that it would probably be basic and a more true experience than other Castle Hotels. I also had learned that the property is no longer able to provide sleeping arrangements in the Castle itself. However, we were up for an adventure, we liked that it was run by a Christian organization, and we were certainly... More

My husband and I went to Kilravock to do research for a book that I am writing. Kirk, Titus, and all those connected with Kilravock were so gracious. They had a store of knowledge of Kilravock and the time that I was researching that I would have found difficult to find elsewhere. My ancestors are Roses, and I was treated... More

We stayed at the hotel for a night after being to a wedding, and i can honestly say thank god it was only one night. The rooms were not in the castle as we hoped but we could have over looked that. The radiators in the rooms were off untill check out three of the rooms we booked were smaller... More

I wanted to spend my birthday in the castle of my ancestors. Proudly, I am a Rose! The staff treated me like an “immediate family” member! The salmon & eggs they served me for breakfast was delicious. The room was great and filled with history. What I loved the most was the tour! To see where my family had come... More

Altough the rooms are not in the castle, most probably due to some safety regulations, our stay was most enjoyable. Breakfast was great and the staff willing to help. More

If you're looking for an affordable castle to stay in then this is the place! We stayed here for the experience and not the pampering. We had to share a bathroom but had a sink in our room. Sharing a bathroom was not a problem at all other than me forgetting my towel in the room once I was in... More
