Visited with my Mum, checking was easy and professional, we had a lovely room over looking the frozen lake, beautiful view and a cosy room. Was good to be able to control the temperature in the room so it was comfortable. Despite the hairdrier turning it's self off half way through getting ready for our evening meal the duty manager... On arrival the hotel looked very impressive and is in a nice location - check in was quick and our room was spacious and clean. However, that was probably the most impressive part of the weekend! That night, I had booked to go to The Boathouse for dinner. We ordered scallops, whitebait and goat's cheese to start - the whitebait... More

This particular weekend, we and most parts of the UK experienced some of the lowest temperatures of Winter in some time. These freezing outdoor temperatures unfortunately had an adverse effect on certain elements of our Spa facility forcing us to have to temporarily close our Steam Room Facility. The temperature of our pool was not affected and manual temperature checks... More

I can't say I'm disappointed with my stay here as I wasn't expecting the most luxurious stay, also the hotel does not advertise itself as a Romantic break hotel. It's location is good with easy access off the main road, the staff at the hotel are fantastic. Friendly and welcoming. The only thing that I struggled to come to terms... More

Unlike a travel lodge, The Cotswold Water Park Four Pillars Hotel provides a range of luxury accommodation, ranging from en suite bedrooms to lake view suites and apartments, many with a balcony or decking area, all alongside contemporary dining at its best in our onsite 'Lakeside Brasserie' complete with lakeside veranda and our very own Lake 6 walk with wildlife... We stayed in a 2 bed/2 bath apartment recently. It was very spacious, clean, well equipped and modern. We had full use of the hotels facilities and had breakfast included in our package. Not sure if it was because we stayed midweek in January but the price was very reasonable too. It felt like we were in a large suite... More

The pool in Spa 6 is an excellent way to relax and unique for adults to maintain their good health, however, it is not ideal for children under 2 years old who are still developing their immune system due to some elements involved in Hydro-therapy pools. We pass our thanks to this guest who noted our spacious, clean, well equipped... More

I've been scratching my head on how to review the weekend that I have just spent at The Four Pillars. I would normally only review a hotel if it was very good or very bad and this was neither. Generally I felt that hotel delivered what I would expect from a 4* set up and therefore a comment wasn't really... More

The property has a large restaurant within the hotel, the Lakeside Brasserie and we do also have a pub on site and are happy for customers to dine where they prefer. Guests on a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast package are offered our Daily menu which is a choice menu that is inclusive in their package. To offer additional choice we... More

I stayed in this hotel back in 2009 for a business course for 4 days and didn't have the best experience. So 3 years later... has it improved??? Well in a word no. As i was in the area in need of a little relaxation i decided i would try out the day spa. For my £25 entrance fee this... More

It is always difficult to exceed customer expectations and we do our very best to address any issues that may arise during a guest stay to ensure that our hotel experience is a pleasurable one. In respect of the points rasied here, we are unable to offer food and beverage on 'poolside' in Spa6 from a health & safety perspective... More

The only thing that deserves 4 or even 5 start about this hotel is the view over the lake. We got lucky and the lake started to ice, so every morning when the sun came out we had a magnificent view! Rooms are clean. And spacious. But Cold. Overall, with the temperature outside ranging between 0 and -5, There was... More

I stayed at the hotel with my partner as a weekend get away on the 28th of January. The hotel is situated in a stunning area lots of places to walk! The hotel facilities are top notch too, the spa pool is spectacular with good hydrotherapy elements, only bad thing I can say is children's swimming times around 3-6 but... More

Great hotel, friendly and helpful service in the restaurant. Food was good and the waiters and waitress couldn't be any more good at delivering good customer service. Rooms were clean and modern. I found the spa to be very overpriced and the treatments were not a high standard, £90 for a short body treatment was excessive. Apart from The spa... More

We booked at the Four Pillars Hotel, Cotswold Water Park for a family birthday celebration and it was a convenient place to meet. The hotel was busy on Friday night with an insurance convention - and drinking goes on well into the night....and Saturday night too. Doors banging shut all night. The swimming pool is very small and the treatments... More

The hotel is busier at weekends and we have installed 'noise buffers' on most internal doors to minimise any disturbance to guests caused by noise levels on the corridors at peak times. We are pleased that this particular guest enjoyed breakfast. It is regrettable that their own personal tastes seemed not to be suited to our evening menu and venue... More
