Warm and friendly staff, great food and a great off the beaten track location to explore the path less taken at a very reasonable price. My American friend especially enjoyed the pub, the breakfast and the banter with the landlord. Weather wasn't the best, but the trip was made more palatable by the convenient parking so we could run out... More

Thank you for your kind review. It was a pleasure to have you stay and I hope my directions of sights to see the next day did not get you lost. Kindest regards, Mark More

Went here for dinner last night and the food was terrible, my partner had a triio of sausages and what came out looked more like a trio of cocktail sausages. I had a 8oz rump steak, which tasted and appeared to be braising steak. We complained but apart from a basic apology that was it. The food itself to taste... More

Whilst we accept that sometimes a mistake may happen in any catering establishment we do in all cases ask mid meal if everything is satisfactory with a customer’s food or if they need anything else. This was also the case here. These customers had an opportunity to raise any concern where we could have offered another steak or choice off... More

We stayed for two nights whilst exploring the Cotswolds area. What an excellent place this is! We received a friendly welcome; great service throughout our stay; warm and comfortable accommodation with well cooked local food; a good selection of drinks and all for a very reasonable price. Would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending to others.

We had booked just one night at this inn in the Cotswolds, but I would happily have stayed longer. The Masons Arms has bucket loads of old English charm. As we arrived we received a warm welcome from the friendly landlord. Our small & cosy low beamed bedroom had all we needed, with fresh crisp linen and a really comfortable... More

The Masons Arms is our "local" - perfect for a saturday night supper or sunday lunch. It never ceases to impress- fresh, local food, with great ales and a warm welcome. Its unpretentious, but features brilliantly cooked "proper food." We haven't stayed overnight there, but friends have and have said the rooms are lovely, and the breakfasts out of this... More

Warm welcome when we arrived, everyone was so friendly. Dinner was fantastic, and so was breakfast! The bedroom was small but tasteful - only down side was the creaking floorboards - but added to the character of the place. Will definitely visit again, and would not hesitate to recommend to others. A very enjoyable stay.

Stayed in this B&b last weekend. Room not huge but beautifully done with good quality furniture and bedding. AMAZING breakfast - beautifully set table, freshly cooked full english (from choice on menu), also cereals, yogs, juice etc. Staff also went way beyond the norm in term of helpfulness - even drove us to a party nearby when no taxis would help... Lovely quiet village to start with, walked in and got a wonderful greeting from the host Mark with a tour of the pub and room. Dinner both nights were delicious and cooked brilliantly. Breakfast was just as good, even though we were the only couple in the place on the Monday, they still set out the breakfast buffet fully and... More
