In a charmeless neighborhood like that you would never expect a place like that, and once you pass the gate it looks like in a fairytale... The chateau is surrounded by water, you enter via a bridge through a huge and heavy wooden portal. But even more romantic is the garden where you can enjoy drinks or dinner and you... More

We choose this castle-restaurant out of a 'bongo'-booklet (castle-weekend). The room was clean but not tastefully dressed. The tv was put directly on the fridge. A very small bathtub, not suitable for two (even for a adult quite small). Two mattresses within a queen sized bed. An okay view, and quiet during the night (birds and a clock tower in... More

A night at Hotel Chateau d'Aubry will leave you with the feeling of having spent a night like in a chateau, with the good... and the bad. The setting is very nice and tranquil, with a small bridge to cross, and no standard reception greeting you, but always a good smile from the staff. Rooms are not so fussy and... More

A real mixture of a hotel in the middle of a town but with lovely grounds. Rooms absolutely fine, great views. Ours was two floors up and the staircases were rather windy with only a rope handrail. Good job we're young enough to manage them! Restaurant - we ate on the covered terrace, all menus personalised - a nice touch.... More

Recently attended for a friends weddings - very pleasant place to be, picturesque and accommodating. There is not a great deal to do in and around the town as far as I could see after a wander around. My room ( a single) was well appointed, with shower, separate loo and sufficent wardrobe space. The bed was a large single... More

Forced by circumstances we had to change arrangements three times. We can only say the staff was more than willing to help us. Unfortunately we couldn't keep our rooms when we made our last change. The hotel offered a deal we accepted. So far so good. Arriving at the chateau was a bit disappointing. May be we had to high... More

A business trip at short notice led to a stay at this lovely hotel. Beautiful Chateau and Grounds.Elegant, quiet and calm, with pleasant staff. Food excellent, but only a limited choice of menu. Three courses, a free appetiser, beautiful home baked bread and a pichet of a Bordeaux 2000 for €39. Aubry itself is nothing special.

We stayed one night on our way back to calais (appox. 2hrs drive). The Chateau is a lovely tranquil spot with a fantastic garden complete with moat and lake. It has a very good restaurant and is on the edge of town within easy reach of the motorway. The menu we had was €44 per person and was well worth... More
