Bed is very comfortable, high quality linin.
The room is clean but the out door pool is a bit dirty as normal.

We stayed at the Sala Villa for 3 nights.
We've read negative reviews from some guests but still decided to try it out, and feel that some of the comments were unjustified, esp those on the decor. Here's our 2 cents...
Pros:
- Peaceful atmosphere throughout the resort, no loud music/parties, more of a couple/adult resort, less ideal for kids...

stayed at Sala Pool Villa and everything is nice including interior design, great pools and beach. highly recommend for couples but not really suitable for babies and kids. those families should consider staying at JW Marriot or Renaissance nearby.
the only downside is if you want to go out, there would be no hotel shuttle and nothing interesting to shop...
