“Will highly recommend....given the fact that there are no better options”

Tents were basic and had what was needed: very clean and comfy tents! I am Western born and bred so it was important for me that the linen, towels and bathroom be clean. I had booked around 8 swiss tents and stayed there in May 2012. infrastructure in the hotel is very poor. I do not think in the name of nature resort one can get away with the real poor service and infrastructure. Say anything, food, recreation, parking, quality of linens, toilet fixtures, all higly disappointing. In all i won't recommed anyone... More

“ideal family vacation resort/destination”

i went with my parents , wife and cousins with their kids. we all had a lovely time. my cousin's kids had enough to keep them busy. we all grown ups relaxed by the river and enjoyed the fresh breeze in the sun. the resort staff continuously indulged all adults and kids in various activity...like rope games and knot games.... The tents at Shikhar Nature Resort are quite good. Ours was fully carpeted, with a couple of single beds, a table, two electricity switch points for charging your cellphones/laptops/cameras, and the bathroom was also decent with a WC. Went to uttarkashi for 1 week of yoga with my friends from germany . hat an great week full of meditation and yoga on the river side. lots of fresh air and peace. we loved the place. took back really nice memories. thank you

“Best place to rejuvenate........”

Had an amazing stay. Teenagers and adults have lot of activities to do all throughout the day. Evenings are perfect with dinner served above the river bank. Nights are pleasant with cool breeze coming from the river which is right opposite all the rooms.

Had an amazing time. We spent the day by the river and playing cricket and kabadi. The food was amazing. The staff was very nice and hospitable. really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the Himalayas during our stay at shikhar nature resort.
