Excellent accommodation, lovely rooms, delicious food, beautiful and peaceful setting and real value of money - could not ask for more! The whole experience was fantastic and a great spot to discover Dorset from. I would highly recommend it for a weekend away.

My husband and I have just come back from a 2 night stay at the Chetnole Inn and had a brilliant time. We stayed in Tess room which was absolutely spotless, with a really comfortable bed and great views. The attention to detail from fresh coffee in the room and molton brown soaps and egyptian cotton towels, dressing gowns and bedding... I stayed two nights at the Chetnole Inn. From the minute I arrived to when I departed I felt comfortable and was made to feel welcome. My room was spacious and very comfortable; how nice to sleep in a bed with quality pillows and duvet. My evening meal both days was first class. I was staying on business therefore sadly... More

Jude and Mike were extremely helpful and made us feel most welcome. Our room had everything we could wish for and was incredibly cosy in spite of bitter winds and snow during our stay. Breakfasts were delicious with thoughtfully chosen sausage and bacon and dinner, using local ingredients where possible, was impressive. We hope to return in warmer weather in... More

We arrived after a difficult journey through bad weather at lunchtime. Our room was so welcoming that we didn't surface again until it was time to eat dinner! The food was notable for the truly excellent choice of suppliers and a clever menu that was both simple but really superbly cooked. The value for money was outstanding and the service... More

With only 3 rooms, there is good attention to detail - from the Molton Brown toiletries to the cafetiere coffee and the comfy cushions. The room was spacious yet cosy, with plenty of storage, a comfortable bed and a seating area. The power shower was very good and the whole room spotlessly clean. The weather was pretty poor while we... More

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything about this wonderful Inn was faultless, our welcome, our room, lunch, dinner and breakfast were beyond excellent. Look forward to another stay at the most comfortable accommodation ever. Thanks to Mike and Jude and your very friendly staff.

My husband and i stayed overnight on a short visit to Dorset. There was a bit of a mix up on check in time as we were told 6pm in the confirmation email but it was closed until 6.30. This wasn't a problem as we went for a short walk around the village but might not have been so good... More

What a lovely surprise when we arrived at the Chetnole Inn, to find such top quality accommodation, a warm, welcoming restaurant in the most peaceful idylic area of Dorset. Having been given a Red Letter Days voucher to use for a night away, we chose the Chetnole Inn as being a good base to explore parts of Dorset we had... More
