We were welcomed warmly, our hosts chatted with us during dinner, which they ate with everyone staying at The Old Cider House. Ozy, their dog, cleared the table napkins for them, as a retriever taking them happily back to the kitchen! We had a delicious dinner and breakfast, and some delightful wines. Really nice B&B. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms and it was extremely clean, tidy and comfortable. The owners are friendly and helpful without being intrusive; my boyfriend now wants to start brewing his own beer after seeing Ian's microbrewery. We stayed for 2 nights and had a reasonable welcome,but our initial thoughts were that the leaflet sent which had no photographs just drawings was very deceiving.The room was large and comfortable.No blind in the bathroom that overlooked the front! and a saniflow in the bathroom becauase their waste pipes aren't large enoughe.Awful grinding sounds even just from waste water.This... more
