My husband and I stayed at La Bihouderie for five nights. We stayed on the second level in the room named Les Tournesols, a beautiful room with a modern bathroom. La Bihouderie also has rooms at ground level, but we wanted to see the countryside from a distance. In addition to the usual chateaux, we would recommend making a day... More

I travelled to France with my girlfriend to celebrate our joint birthdays and we picked this lovely B&B to stay in for 3 nights in the Loire. It's located only 10 minutes from the city of Loches, yet is in beautiful and quiet farmland. We stayed in the family suite, which was made up of 2 large bedrooms with a... More

My girlfriend and I booked the family room, which was actually a 2 bedroom suite with a door leading directly out to the serene yard in the back. Every night we were treated to a spectacular sunset settling across the vast and lush farmland. Spacious and comfortable, not even a rooster could be heard through the thick stone walls. Naomi... We stayed for one night on our way back to Cherbourg and had two rooms which were both spacious with very comfortable beds . Our hostess, Naomi, was charming and prepared a great supper for the four of us which was delicious and much appreciated. Naomi was also very knowledgeable about the Loire area and filled with enthusiasm about all... More

We have just spent a few days in the Loire Valley. This time we stayed at La Bihourderie near Loches. We felt very welcome and really enjoyed our stay there. We had an upstairs room which was very tastefully decorated and had the bonus of great views over open countryside. We liked the fact that there was a guest’s lounge... More

We just returned from an absolutely delightful stay at La Bihourderie. The host and hostess are charming and welcoming, making us truly feel as though we were guests in their home. They have renovated the house to make it comfortably modern without sacrificing 13th century charm. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, with renovated bathrooms. This B&B is located in... More

I cannot believe that anyone could genuinely find fault with this wonderful place - I suspect these people were trying for a discount. We have enjoyed many holidays here. The setting and accommodation are faultless, and you can certainly expect a friendly and caring reception. There are plenty of interesting places to visit nearby. We are looking forward to visiting... More
